Team Vocational Education

The work of the Vocational Education and Training team in research and teaching focuses on the theory and empirical aspects of vocational and in-company initial and continuing training. The concept of vocational education as a technical and social organizational principle of work, acquisition and qualification forms a central theoretical framework. The company as a place of learning, the professionalisation of training personnel and the interaction of individual competence and company organisational development are further focal points of work.

The Vocational Education team offers courses in the Bachelor Technical Education, Master Teaching Profession at Vocational Schools, Master LBS-Sprint and Master Educational Sciences courses and is authorised to take examinations in these courses.
