The project objective of the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Hannover is to enable small and medium-sized enterprises to strategically implement digital applications and technologies, including artificial intelligence, in such a way that they bring concrete economic benefits and thus directly contribute to the future viability of the company. In order to achieve this goal, the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Hannover is creating various offerings that provide companies - based on their respective level of digital maturity - with needs-based entry points into digitization.

All offers are provided free of charge to companies throughout Lower Saxony. The main topics are innovation and technology, artificial intelligence, organizational development and digital learning, and environmental sustainability.

The offerings cover four areas:

In the entry-level area, small and medium-sized companies find their first points of contact with digital transformation, e.g., at roadshows, trade fairs and expert presentations as well as live demonstrations.

In company meetings, experts from the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Hannover visit companies to analyze their needs and potential with regard to digital transformation and to support them with their professional expertise in developing ideas for implementation in the company.

As part of the competence development, workshops and webinars as well as blended learning courses are offered on the main topics of the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum. In addition, digital learning content is made freely available to companies via the homepage.

The digitization projects run for 3 to 6 months. Experts from the Mittelstand-Digital Zentrum Hannover work with companies to develop a digitization strategy, design digitization projects and implement them in the companies as prototypes.
