Catchment areas: Lower Saxony and Bremen

Funded since the beginning of 2016 by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Energy (BMWi) in cooperation with the Production Technology Centre Hanover (PZH) and the Institute for Integrated Production Hanover (IPH).

The institutes located at the Production Technology Centre Hannover (PZH) and the Institute for Integrated Production Hannover (IPH), as applicants, pool their expertise along the entire value chain of production in the Competence Centre Hannover. Additional expertise such as IT security, legal or society aspects are provided by additional partners. The resulting portfolio of services offered by the Competence Centre for SMEs covers the areas of information, qualification, dialogue and implementation.

a) Information and demonstration: We are on the move throughout the entire catchment area with seminars on the subject.

(b) dialogue: We establish a direct dialogue with the companies and visit them in order to jointly develop individual solutions.

c) Qualification: In general training and expert training on specific topics, we qualify the companies.

d) Implementation: We put projects of a showcase nature into practice with them.

With a general factory, various expert factories and a mobile factory, the Hanover Competence Centre covers the entire catchment area. The location of the general factory on the Deutsche Messe AG site also gives the competence centre an excellent connection to the Hannover Messe, which functions as the leading trade fair for the industry 4.0
